“It’s been proven, anyone who is willing to pay the blood, sweat and tears can become a millionaire, but it will not happen overnight!” Lesa Dale, “Business Tips for Budding Teen Entrepreneurs”

As a homeschooling parent, I know the financial struggles involved with homeschooling. We are teaching our children to be independent and would like for them to continue to follow the non-traditional path upon which we have set them.

In 1999 at the office of a network marketing company I got to see first hand the power of the Internet. For a couple of years I played with the Internet and learned how to use it to market a business.

I started networking with many groups and decided to put my talents to use. I started a small printing business then added VA work to my repertoire. (VA – Virtual Assistant is basically an online personal assistant.)

In the spring of 2008, Dolly Hooker, a certified coach trainer, reached out and offered me a chance at my dream business. I am now a certified Christian Life Coach specializing in Business Coaching and Internet marketing.

Dolly and Patty Benton, my business coaches, said it was time to take a leap of faith, quit the part-time job that I used to supplement my income and get focused. At the time I was a single-homeschooling-mom, so this was just a little bit terrifying, so I did some hard praying. And one morning, I guess God got tired of me not listening to these subtle hints and decided to hit me over the head with it…lol!

After spending my morning asking and praying about leaving my job, I went to work. An hour later a small fire broke out and I found myself without a part-time job.

I took the time away from the job to get my directions from God.  A spiritual gifts test let me know I was heading in the right direction with the coaching and other events set me to working with teens.

The Internet is an ever changing creation and new ways to connect, makes it a constant learning experience. As a coach I knew I wanted to work with homeschool families and business building with Internet marketing. So I combined the two.  From this Teen Biz Talk was developed.
