What is the Best Business for Teens?

Most teens have definitive schedules when they are in school. Home schooled teens are a bit more flexible as their curriculum work can be fitted in with their business schedule. Whichever way you’re educated, your parents’ help will most likely still be needed, at least in the beginning, when discussing what the best business for teens will be.

The first thing you want to do in tracking what the best business will be for you, as a teen, is to haul out some paper and a pen. You are going to make a list of what your passions are, at least the ones that can be turned into successful businesses. Another column can be used to list which of these you may have the means to turn into a business. Break them down even more into advantages and disadvantages of each idea.

Before you know it, you may have hit on just the right sort of business for teens that could work out perfectly for you. It’s not really that hard to pick out a business that will work out. All you need to do is mix together something you really love to do together with something that is feasible for you to run while also completing your education. [Read more...]

Once you’ve decided to start an email list, you’ll need a way to manage your contacts so you can easily add and delete contacts, and send them a variety of electronic communications. While some people try to handle their lists through their personal email accounts, when your list grows, you’ll soon run into problems. Not only may your internet server flag you as a potential spammer, keeping track of hundreds – if not thousands! – of subscribers would be a nightmare. Make it easy on yourself and start with a robust system from the beginning.

Here are some questions you’ll want to ask when evaluating email list management systems:

  • Will it generate an online form for installation on your blog or website that allows someone to subscribe and unsubscribe easily, at the push of a button?
  • Does it have the ability to send your newsletter in the format you choose (text or HTML, for instance)? [Read more...]

Blogging for Money

Regine with WE MAKE MONEY NOT ART

Something that nearly all teens love to do is share their opinions. They just can’t seem to help themselves and it doesn’t matter if it’s through talking or writing. The important part is just getting their words out there where others will receive them.

It is this reason that blogging can be one of the perfect ways for teens to begin their own businesses. Blogs are so popular right now that, when operated in the right way, they can bring in money. As teens tend to be passionate about what they believe, it will be easy for them to keep up their blogs and tend to them on a daily basis. [Read more...]

Being a business owner comes with both privileges and responsibilities, not only to yourself, but to others as well as God.   As a Christian I am sure you realize that it is God who gave you the business and the abilities that you have to run it.  As a result, you will want to do all that you can to make certain that you are running your business as a Christian should.

As Christian business owners we should stand out from the crowd by offering top-notch service, stand firm on our promises, and go the extra mile for our clients.  Doing so will not only make your business successful, but also make it a shining light and a witness in our world.

Too many business owners allow themselves to become involved in schemes or scams in the pursuit of the almighty dollar.  By doing so they are not only giving their business and themselves a bad image and reputation, but they are also not being faithful to God by being dishonest and not honoring the commandments that He gives us all as Christians.
